How to Open a Teen Checking Account
- Teen and Adult joint owner must visit a BAC branch in person.
What Should I Bring?
- Both the Teen and the Adult opening the account need to bring:
- Date of Birth
- Social Security Number
- Valid ID:
- California ID Card,
- California Driver License,
- U.S. Passport, or
- Student ID with photo
- $25 opening deposit (this is your money)
Where Should I Go?
- Find the nearest BAC branch location
- Stop by during regular business hours, or
- Call ahead to make an appointment (branch phone numbers are included in the link below.)

Requires an adult 18 years or older as a joint owner.
